A Little Fall of Rain || Elsa and Mary

                                                    “ Well I do know. ” 

     She’d stayed with Elsa for months now. She saw so much in the young queen. So much potential. The young woman could be so much more if she would only allow herself to be. Mary believed that if Elsa would only put aside those fears, she’d be able to achieve anything. If she only believed in herself, then she would realize that she was not the monster her parents feared she might become. There was obvious goodness in Elsa. Not evil.

                                                    “ Elsa –––––––– ”

            Mary moved so that she was kneeling right beside the young
            woman as opposed to standing behind her. Like her own
            parents had been wrong about Mary, the former king and
            queen of Arendelle had been wrong about their own daughter. 

                                           “ Elsa, I see so much in you.
                                            And a monster is not one of
                                                         those things. ” 

✕ ✕ ┊she of ice & snow ;;

        Monsters were defined as inhumanly cruel or wicked beings.
        They care not for good intentions or for the people around them.
        They purposely seek to torture or harm people around them for
        their own sick pleasure.

 Elsa was neither cruel nor wicked. She cried when she accidentally killed a spider.
 She smiled when she sees the youngest citizens of Arendelle playing in the snow.
 Her heart filled with joy whenever she saw her sister smile. She loves with all her
 being and simply wanted to be LOVED in return. & yet, that did not stop her mother
 and father from treating her like she was a [ monster ]. Did they see something in 
 her that caused them to reject her so? Did they see something that caused them to
 hide her away from the world and do nothing but watch as she and her sister 
 suffered? 

     What did she do or have inside her that earned her their scorn?

     God above, she hated them. God above, she had no idea how she felt.
     The love that she had for them was still there, but there was a hatred 
     that lingered as well. Did they see that darkness in her heart?
                                             Is that why?

                think I am. I want them back so I can show them that there is
                          so much more to me than my POWERS.❞
