MRS

emma

Bears or wolves were not even in the corner of the blonde’s mind. She was more worried about other things at the moment. She was more worried about the castle her best friend was talking about before. With every thought, Emma was thinking about what could be inside the castle. There could be anything inside and her imagination was running wild about the things that they would find in that certain castle.

But as Elsa said those last words, it made her even more excited for this adventure. Finding the lost crown of Arendelle sounded as if it would be the biggest adventure the two of them would ever have.

“We might! Let’s hurry up and find out!”

Her tutors used to tell her these stories all the time. The crown was lost more than a century ago during one of the few invasions Arendelle has had to deal with. The king had died in battle, leaving Arendelle in the hands of his young wife and eldest son. In an attempt to save her children and Arendelle’s rightful heir, she sent them off with five trusted guards and her sister whilst she went down to meet the enemy wearing her crown. The enemy was far to distracted at the the idea that they were victorious that as they burned the Queen along with her crown, they never thought to search for the children until it was too late.

Weeks after her death, Arendelle’s allies finally defeated the invaders and placed the twelve year old prince on his parents throne. However, the ancestral crown was never found amongst the wreckage. It was said the mountain swallowed up the crown and would only return it when it came time to.

So as they made their way towards the palace, Elsa could not help but think of this story once more. She knew there was more to it, but her tutors never elaborated. She almost wondered if the story they told was mild compared to the truth.
