◤ mama ◢
This wasn’t something she wanted to do. As queen, as a mother, Anesa knew she’d have to make tough decisions. Heavens, she made tough decisions every day. But… This was so different. She knew exactly what needed to be done, despite how her daughter might feel about the atrocity that needed to be committed. But rarely did the queen’s faith feel challenged.
This was in the best interest of Elsa, even if Anesa knew her her beloved daughter would despise her. and that quite possibly she’d be banned from heaven and banished to hell for the sin of forcing the life, the innocent gift of god, that grew with in her daughter’s womb into oblivion. This was in Elsa’s best interest. If she were to give birth to a bastard she would never be a respected Queen. And not to mention her daughter gift. It was just too danger ous
Surely Elsa would understand.
Someday.
Pulling a thin leather bound book from a shelf slightly above her eye level, it was laid on desk. There was no use approaching her daughter. It would only make it worse, as snow flakes flurried and fell from around her first born.
”I’m only looking out for your best interest Elsa.
This is our safest option. Our only rational option.”

Without warning, a strange mixture of laughter and sobbing escaped Elsa’s lips. As hard as she tried to stop, she could not. She wanted to laugh at her mother’s words and weep over the situation. She wished she could stop the emotions that just burst from her and be WINTER like, but she could not. Elsa could not be that woman, not after she tasted passion and freedom. She was not about to lie down and allow this to happen. For once in her life, [ she was going to take the reigns ].
As her mother looked at the book, Elsa took another few steps away from
her mother. Each time she did so, more snow fell around her. With her hand
on her belly, she did her best to stand TALL against the woman that brought
her into this world.
❝NO! I refuse to do that.❞
Her voice echoed around the room. Thankfully, it did not
weaver. It stayed strong even as Elsa herself wanted nothing
more than to CRUMBLE.
❝What sort of mother even suggests this sort of thing? I
I love this child because she is PURE.
Because she is half of him and half of me.
You say that it is rational? What is rational
about this?❞
Elsa’s eyes widened and she took another step back
as both hands reached down to cover her belly.
Anything to protect her child.
❝Y-you think she’s a MONSTER like me, don’t you?❞
Clueless Her daughter was utterly clueless Either that, or ignorant. Maybe even delusional if she thought keeping that...
