Henry was a clever child--like his parents, and his siblings. He knew his letters and his numbers, and he could recite the days of the week. He also knew that the voyage to Arendelle was three days by ship, and after counting to three twice on his fingers, concluded that his mother would only be gone for six days. Beaming with pride, he wiggled six fingers under Elsa's nose and said, "That's only a week, Mama! A week isn't very long. If you leave on Sunday, you can be back by Saturday!"

She wished she could say that it was just a week. She wished she could say that she could leave Saturday morning and be able to come back Sunday evening. However, things did not work that way.

Elsa smiled at him, proud that he once again demonstrated how well he already knew his numbers. Her clever little Heny. However, even with the smile on her face, she could not hide the gloom. Before she could even speak, she leaned down once more and placed another kiss on her son’s forehead. She intertwined their fingers together and brought them up to her lips.

❝I’m afraid I might be gone longer than that. At least two weeks, maybe even t-three and a half.❞

As she spoke, she could not stop her voice from breaking. She did not want to cry, not in front of Henry for she knew he too would get upset. It would not do anyone any good if they both lost control of their emotions.

❝But I’ll be back as soon as I can. If I have to freeze the ocean and ride a horse all the way here, I will. Nothing will stop me from coming back.❞
